After you have assigned work orders to your desired internal technicians in the Work Order Assignment module of Provider Automation, your internal tech team will see the work orders in the ServiceChannel Provider mobile app.
Actions You Can Take to Manage Work Orders
Check what you can do with work orders within the app.
- View work orders assigned to you.
- View work orders assigned to other technicians.
- Check in and out of work orders.
- Change the status of work orders.
- Edit work order properties, including the NTE amount, description, scheduled date, priority, trade, category, asset, and more.
- Add photos/videos and notes to work orders.
- Open attachments.
- Reassign work orders to another internal technician.
- Decline work orders.
- Cancel work orders if the job is no longer necessary.
These features should be unlocked first.
- 🔑 View and accept service requests assigned to external providers.
- 🔑 Reassign work orders to an external service provider.
- 🔑 Link existing work orders.
- 🔑 Log time for custom activities, for example, breaks, via Time Tracking.
- 🔑 Create new work orders.
