Conducting Inventory Cycle Counts

You can be assigned to conduct inventory cycle counts for a specific or multiple locations. When assigned, you will receive notifications for when cycle counts are due. Each cycle count is unique based on the parts being held at a location. When performing the count, you can:

  • Indicate the count for a part.
  • Indicate whether a part is no longer in stock.
  • Indicate completed cycle count.

Inventory Cycle Counts can be saved at any time and continued later. Cycle counts are only visible when one is needed. You can edit the count for each part before it gets submitted for approval. For any cycle count to be completed, the list must be updated and confirmed before being submitted for approval. Service Automation updates automatically and someone can approval the cycle count resulting in the quantity of parts at a location being updated.
