Managing Field Tech Manager Technicians

Managing your Field Tech Manager technicians internal to your company allows you to view which technicians are assigned to which work orders. You can also automatically assign work orders to technicians, as well as set up forwarding rules in situations when technicians are on vacation or extended leave.

First, your ServiceChannel representative will configure your Field Tech Manager account through Provider Automation — the service provider's side of Service Automation. From there, you can easily add additional technicians through Provider Automation's User Management module, and then assign work orders to technicians through Provider Automation's Work Order Assignment module.
