Viewing Asset Transfer Dashboard Summary

Asset Transfer Dashboard Summary offers real time detailed portfolio data and statuses about your assets based on repair and transfers. The dashboard changes and provides a summary based on the filter’s choices. When certain or multiple items are selected from a filter, the dashboard creates a summary to reflect those selections.

Asset Transfer Dashboard Summary

The following filters are:

  1. Location: Filters the dashboard results to one or more locations
  2. Region: Filters the dashboard results to one or more regions
  3. Asset Type: Filters the dashboard to one or more specific asset types
  4. Brand: Filters the dashboard to one or more brands


You can select multiple choices under each filter. 

Viewing Main Summary Display

The main summary displays represent various information to help with assessing repairs and transfers for assets. When statuses change, it is automatically updated in Service Automation, the dashboard reflects the changes and displays it in real-time. The following main summary displays are:

  1. Asset Total: The number of assets that are within the asset module. This includes assets that are inactive
    1. Working: Currently in use
    2. Needs Repair: Requires maintenance or repair work
    3. Needs Replaced: A new asset is required
  2. Note: The Exclude Inactive Asset checkbox removes all inactive assets from the Asset Total number
  3. More than 3 WO’s (Last 6 months): Did more than 3 work orders receive repair or transfer
  4. Transferred Assets (Last 6 months): Total number of assets transferred
  5. Transfer Request: Total number of asset transfer request submitted

Scheduling an Asset Transfer

Scheduling an asset transfer work orders is requesting an external technician to move an asset from one location to another. When an asset transfer request is submitted, the dashboard is immediately updated to reflect new scheduling request. Once that asset transfer request is completed by the external technician, the dashboard updates the transfer status. 

⦿ How to Schedule an Asset Transfer
  1. Click the Schedule button to open the modal
  2. Use the drop-down arrows to select the following:
    1. Current location
    2. Asset (from current location)
    3. New Location
    4. Reason for Transfer

  3. Click the Generate Transfer WO button to create the work order
  4. A WO number displays on the screen which confirms the submission
