Search Results Page

Once you have performed a search for providers in Provider Search, you land on the Search Results page displaying a list of providers who fit your search criteria.   

On the Search Results page, you can: 

The provider list is arranged to show Top Choice providers first based on the overall Search Score next to their company logo for the specific criteria you entered. Providers with lower scores related to your criteria appear further down the list.

The Search Results page displays 10 providers at a time. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to upload more providers. 


Each provider card has the Search Score. It is a weighted average of the provider's score for Price, Engagement, Speed, and Quality, based on your specific search criteria. With these scores, you can compare providers and choose the ideal one for your needs related to that search criteria. 

  • Hover over the Search Score to see the provider’s individual scores for Quality, Speed, Price, and Engagement

  • Click on any individual score to view the provider’s standing for the specific Key Performance Indicators contributing to that score.

When you search for providers, you may see the overall Search Score as “N/A meaning it is not available because there is not enough data for one or several of the individual scores related to your specific search. 

We recommend you hover over the Search Score or open the provider’s profile to view the individual score numbers, as they could affect your provider choice. 


Reviewing a Provider Card 

Each card reflects the following relevant information about a provider:

  1. Company name and logo (when provided).
  2. The Search Score is a weighted set of the providers scores for Speed, Quality, Price, and Engagement related to your specific search  
  3. The Self-Performer badge indicates that a provider does the work themselves. When a provider is not a self-performer, this badge is not shown. 
  4. The Verified Diverse Business badge shows that the provider’s diversity information has been verified by Middesk. 
  5. The first and second-ranked providers will have the Top Choice badge in the upper right corner of the provider’s info. All other providers will not have the badge. 
  6. The basic company information includes: 
    • CoverageThe geographical level where the provider operates, such as local, regional, multi-regional, or national. 
    • SC ClientsThe number of clients on the platform this provider works with.
    • IndustriesThis data shows the provider’s experience across industries based on the ServiceChannel work order volume.  
      For example, 100% of work orders are in the Restaurant industry, or 30% Restaurant / 50% Retail / 20% Banking.
    • TradesThe complete list of trades the provider covers, as reported when they created a ServiceChannel account.
  7. The Compare checkbox helps you to compare up to 5 providers to choose the best one.
  8. Message button used to communicate directly with the provider.

    When there is no Message button, it means the provider is not available to chat.

  9. The Invite button used to invite the provider to your Network.


When the provider’s price is economical on average, you will see the Cost-Effective label on the provider’s card.

To return the Provider Search starting page, click Back to Search in the upper-left corner of the Search Results page. 


Verified Provider Information

In partnership with Middesk, we can provide verified information for more than 65,000 US-based businesses, including Business entities & filings, and Diversity. 
Providers whose Diversity Middesk has verified information will have the Diversity indicator in search results with the Verified Diverse Business badge on their card.

  • Click on the badge on the provider’s card to learn about the purpose of the verification and find the link to the Middesk website.
