Conducting Testing Periods for Providers Using Pilot
- Anastasia Medovkina
Provider Pilots are designed to help you set up performance testing period for newly accepted providers and for all providers In Network.
When you create a pilot with a specified set of work orders as a goal for the provider's testing period, it does not impact the provider’s current assignments or rankings. This allows you to track pilot work orders separately and make an informed decision on future assignments.
- On the Hamburger Menu, click Locations & Provider Assignments.
- Select the provider to conduct the test period in one of the two ways:
- On a newly accepted provider card in the Provider Assignment Waitlist section, click Pilot.
- In the upper-right corner of the Provider Assignment Waitlist section, click Pilot, then click Create Pilot.
- On a newly accepted provider card in the Provider Assignment Waitlist section, click Pilot.
Viewing Provider Pilots Table
You can track pilots for different providers on the Provider Pilots table.
- On the Hamburger Menu, click Locations & Provider Assignments.
- In the upper-right corner of the Provider Assignment Waitlist section, click Pilot.
The Provider Pilot page opens.
The table consists of the following sections:
- Sorting and Filtering options:
- Enter the Provider Name in the Search Provider field to find pilots for a specific provider.
- Sort pilots by statuses.
- Provider Name and Pilot Status. On the left side of the table, you can view the provider's name and the status the testing period is in:
- Pilot Completed. The status means the provider has completed the designated goal of work order for the testing period. You can now assign rank to them.
- Pilot in Progress. The status means the provider is in the process of completing the designated set of work orders.
Pilot Ended. The status means that one of the users had stopped the testing period before the provider completed work orders.
Only providers with Power User or Provider Assignment Editor roles can create and end the testing period.
- WOs Completed. In this column, you can see how many work orders the provider has completed during the testing period. If at least one of the designated numbers of work orders is completed, you can view it by clicking the number. It will lead you to the Work Orders List page.
- Trades. The provider can be tested on 3 trades at a time for 1 pilot. Hover over the trades number to view trades names.
Locations. You can check the locations the testing period is conducted for by clicking on the location number.
By clicking the location number, you will see a table with the locations. You can search for the locations by a specific criterion or select a specific location to view information about.
- Joined Network. In this column, you can find information about the date the provider joined your Private Network.
- Email. In the Emails column, you can see the recipients of the information when the testing period is completed or ended.
- Action. Under the Action column, there are 4 available actions depending on the provider pilot status:
- Pilot Completed - Assign. When the provider has completed the testing period, you can assign rank to them by clicking the Assign button.
- Pilot in Progress - End. You may decide to end the testing period without waiting for the provider to complete the designated number of work orders by clicking the End button.
- Pilot Ended - Assign. Should you end the testing period earlier and be satisfied with the results, you still can assign rank to the provider by clicking the Assign button.
