Using Provider Quick Assign to Manage Provider Assignments and Ranks

About Provider Quick Assign

Provider Quick Assign helps you quickly assign newly onboarded providers to locations and trades and quickly swap providers’ assignments and ranks.

It simplifies your work in 2 ways:

  • Provider Assignment Waitlist shows newly onboarded providers who recently joined your Private Network and are not assigned to any locations yet. It ensures that your new providers do not go unnoticed and are promptly allocated to start working.

  • Provider Quick Assign allows you to assign new providers to the locations and rank them to swap out low-performing ones. Thus, your company can reduce the risks of operational delays, cost overruns, and service quality issues.

The provider assignment process has 3 steps

  1. You select a provider you want to assign to locations or change their rank.
  2. You select a provider you would like to replace with a provider from Step 1 or assign a provider to the specific rate.
  3. You select trades and locations where a new provider will substitute the old one(s).

Not only will the provider assignments at the location change, but the provider's ranks will also be swapped. To get started, let’s see what information is displayed in the Provider Assignment Waitlist section.

About the Provider Assignment Waitlist Section

The Provider Assignment Waitlist section shows provider cards of newly onboarded providers, reminding you to assign them to the locations. From this section, you can also:

  • View and manage displayed providers for your account.
  • Assign newly onboarded and other providers.
  • View the entire waitlist of providers who recently joined your network.

The Provider Assignment Waitlist section is available for users with the Power User or Provider Assignments Editor permissions. To learn more about permissions, read Permissions Tab in Service Automation Admin

The section consists of 5 main parts.

  1. Providers’ Cards. In the middle of the section, you can see new providers who joined your Private Network in the last 12 months and have not been assigned to any locations yet.

On each card, the following information is shown:
    • Provider’s Name
    • Date provider joined your network
    • Compliance %

If all your providers are assigned, you will see the Celebration icon. To swap providers who are assigned to locations, use the Assign Providers button.

  2. Delete Unassigned Provider. By clicking the Cross icon on the provider’s card, you remove this provider from the top list of unassigned providers.

If you remove a provider, it will be hidden only for your user. Other users will still be able to see that provider on the list. The removed provider can also be viewed via on the complete list of unassigned providers.

  3. View Waitlist. To view the complete list of unassigned providers, use the View Waitlist button at the upper-right corner of the page or the Plus button at the end of the provider list.
  4. Start Assigning. By clicking the Assign button on the specific provider card, you will start the Provider Quick Assign process for this provider.
  5. Assign Providers. To start the Provider Quick Assign process for any providers (assigned and unassigned), use the Assign Providers button at the upper-right corner of the page.
