Editing an Audit

You might find you need to complete an audit you previously started or need to correct/update an already completed audit. You can make edits to these audits in Service Automation or in SC Mobile. 

Multiple Auditors

Please be aware that multiple users can be in the same audit at the same time. Whoever finishes first, their audit choices will be saved and other audit choices will disappear.  


Open Audits


Incomplete audits show an Open status in yellow/orange and note how many audit items remain in blue.


⦿ How to Edit an Incomplete Audit
  1. Navigate to the desired incomplete audit by:
    1. Scrolling through your audit list
    2. Search by location, user, or audit name.
    3. Filter by audit status by clicking on Status and then selecting the desired status from the pop up at the bottom of your screen and clicking Done.

  2. Tap on the Audit name.
  3. Tap on the item to be updated.
  4. Select the accurate rating.
  5. (Optional)Tap the back arrow to change more items.
  6. Tap Upload to submit your completed audit.
    or
  7. Tap Upload and choose Save as Draft to save your incomplete audit to finish at another time in SC Mobile or in Service Automation


Once successfully uploaded, you will see the message at the bottom of the screen "The Audit was successfully uploaded."

You can verify your incomplete audit has been saved because your unaudited number will be fewer.

Completed Audits


Completed audits show Completed status in teal blue.

⦿ How to Edit a Completed Audit
  1. Navigate to the desired completed audit by scrolling through your audit list or search by location, user, or audit name.
  2. Tap on the Audit name.
  3. Tap on the item to be updated.
  4. Update the rating.
  5. (Optional)Tap the back arrow to change more items.
  6. Tap Update once you've completed your audit.


Once successfully uploaded, you will see the message at the bottom of the screen "The Audit was successfully uploaded."


Changes

Once a report has been changed, you cannot undo and go to a previous version of the report nor can you track historical changes. Keep this in mind as you make edits and submit.
