Once an RFP is created and submitted to providers, you have the option to edit it from the View RFP List page, which will prompt providers to either submit a new proposal or simply notify them about the changes.

Contact your ServiceChannel manager to be able to edit an RFP after creation. The feature should be on for you and your provider.

⦿ How to Edit an Existing RFP

  2. (Optional) Apply necessary filters if necessary.
  3. Click Retrieve Report.

Only a user who created an RFP can make changes to it.

  5. Make necessary updates.

The following field updates void providers’ proposals prompting them to submit new proposals to adjust to new requirements:

    • WO#
    • Date/Time
    • Trade
    • RFP Description
    • Due in (hrs)
    • Due Date/Time

The change of an RFP number, email address for submission or

Attachments does not influence providers’ proposals.

  6. Click Update and confirm your actions.

Depending on the fields you have updated, your provider will receive an email notification prompting them to either submit a new proposal or simply inform them of the changes that have occurred.

  7. (Optional) On the RFP List page, click the View Updates button to view the changes made to the RFP.
