Technician Types and Access

When enabled, the Site Access rules apply to both Pin Code Technicians and Username/Password Technicians, however, the process is slightly different for each. There are clients who as part of their Site Access rules mandate that all technicians servicing their locations have Username/Password Technician accounts.

Account Setup

  • Option 1
    • Can use company’s universal pin code to log in
  • Option 2
    • Can have a Technician account established through User Management which provides technicians with a unique Pin Code
    • A photo can be uploaded through the Admin portal
  • Have accounts setup in User Management
  • Are provided with a unique Pin Code
  • A technician can either take a 'selfie' and upload it into the app, or a photo can be uploaded through the Admin portal.

Technician Badge

  • Badge displays company logo and a QR code that identifies the technician
  • Badge displays the Technician’s self image

Work Order View

  • Must be given the Work Order number to search for in SC Provider
  • Will see a list of all work orders assigned to them in SC Provider

Filtering Work Order Views 

  • Filters are not available to techs who log in with a Pin Code
  • The ability to create Filters is available to techs who log in with a Username and password

View Work Order Notes

  • Technicians will be able to read notes created by others as well as add notes to the work order

Push Notifications

  • Yes, if enabled by the technician
  • Not available
