Accessing and Navigating Provider Automation

Provider Automation allows you to manage work orders, proposals, invoices, users, your profile, and more. 

ServiceChannel Provider Automation is accessible through any Internet browser. 

⦿ How to Log in to Provider Automation
  1. Open an Internet browser and enter login.servicechannel.com. The login page appears.

  2. Enter your User ID and Password.
  3. Click Login. The Console appears.

Navigating Provider Automation

When you log in to Provider Automation, you will see the following navigation options:

Three-Line Menu Icon

When clicking the menu icon on the top left, you will see expanded menu options listing the following features:

Menu in Provider Automation

  • Home: Navigate to the Home page where you can do the following:
    • Search for work orders by multiple criteria
    • View metrics for work orders, proposals, and invoices and apply filters to them
    • Get a quick overview of your profile and navigate to the corresponding pages to complete tasks that require action
    • Enroll in the ServiceChannel Scout program
  • Work Orders: View work order details, and assign technicians to work orders
  • RFPs / Proposals: View Requests for Proposals (or RFPs) from Clients, and create Proposals for Clients.
  • Invoices: Create and issue Invoices for services rendered.
  • Assets (Equipment): View equipment assets for individual locations.
  • Administration: Self-service module to manage Contractor User Permissions, Directory Profile, and Locations
  • Service Health: View up-to-date system statuses for all ServiceChannel products.

Top Navigation

These two tabs describe the top navigation bar for providers based in the USA and outside the USA. Click on the corresponding tab depending on where your company is based.

Icons

Menu icons on the top right also direct you to the appropriate pages:

  • Alert Icon: These alerts are system generated and often serve as reminders for your ServiceChannel account admin or from Clients seeking compliance updates.
  • Message Icon: These notifications usually reflect new clients invitations.
  • Messaging Center Icon: The messages from clients who have found you on the Marketplace Search.
  • User Icon/Name.
    • Settings allow you to manage your company account and notifications and configure your regional settings (language, currency code, date and time formats). 
    • Help: Access to ServiceChannel University, our knowledge base.
    • Report an Issue: Link to create a support request with ServiceChannel.
    • Logout.
