Communicating with a Client

Once you have set up your profile, clients can find your company in the Provider Search and get into conversation with you. 

As soon as a client sends a message, you will get a notification via email and/or SMS.

Unread messages appear next to the Messaging Center in Provider Automation.

We highly recommend that you enter a phone number in the Business Information on the Profile. Thus, you will get SMS notifications when new messages from clients appear.


⦿ How to Send a Message to a Client
  1. Click the chat icon  in the upper-right corner of any page in Provider Automation. The chat page appears.

    You will see that the companies that you are in-network for are marked with In Network. Messages from unknown clients will not have the In Network status unless they invite you to their Private Network in the Provider Search.

  2. Select a company that has reached out to you earlier. If needed, use the Search field to find the needed client.
  3. Type your message.
  4. Click Send. Alternatively, press Enter on the keyboard. Your message is sent to the client.

    Chats with unread messages are marked with a blue dot. Company names appear in bold.

Be careful when deciding to delete a chat, you will not be able to reach out to this client via the Messaging Center unless the client texts you themselves.
