The ServiceChannel Provider mobile app helps you deliver great onsite service to your clients.
In this mobile app, you can accomplish actions previously completed across multiple mobile and web apps — GPS Check-in, Contractor-Initiated Work Order (CIWO), Field Tech Manager (FTM), and Site Access. SC Provider supports all functionality of the listed apps and uses our most current and modern user experience, improving your ability to interact with the ServiceChannel software from the field.
Downloading SC Provider
Whether you use an iOS or Android device, you can easily download the SC Provider mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play Market:
Your administrator or manager should inform you how to access the app. If they decide that you should enter a PIN code when logging in, you are provided with a PIN code. In case your employer wants you to use an email and password, you receive an email with a link to set your password.
To log into SC Provider and use the app, you need to have an Internet connection — either through Wi-Fi or cellular data.
The location services option on your device allows permissioned apps to locate you via GPS. Should you have the location services option turned on for your device, SC Provider uses this info to define your current position.
When the option is on, you are able to fully use the SC Provider mobile app.
When the option is off, you are not able to check into work orders.
SC Provider does not use location services while you are logged out of the app.
Camera, Photos, and Videos Access
In the SC Provider mobile app, you have the ability to take photos and videos of issues as well as attach them to work orders. Your mobile device may ask for a permission to access your camera and media files for the sole purpose of taking and attaching photos and videos related to these actions.
