On the home screen of ServiceChannel Mobile, you can see the modules listed below. Your actual views may vary depending on the user permissions configured by your ServiceChannel administrator.
SC Mobile does not follow permissions based on Location Note Headers.
- Profile: Profile icon takes you to your profile information where you can customize how you see your Home Screen, set up Alerts, and view helpful links.
- WOs (Work Orders): Create, view, and modify work orders across all permissioned locations.
- Filters: Saved filters you've created and elected to show on the home screen are displayed here. You can modify that setting under your Profile Settings.
- Locations: Click on Locations to view a list of locations to which you have access, by list view or map view.
- When location services are enabled, the list is sorted by distance, with the location closest to you listed on top (list view) or pinned to the map (map view).
- By default, you see locations in the list view.
- When you select a location, you see all work orders and proposals associated with that location. You may also create work orders for that location.
- Reviews: View all work order or provider reviews completed or needing to be completed by location. See Providing Reviews and Ratings in SC Mobile for more information.
- Create Work Order: Go directly to creating a work order from the Create Work Order button.
- Proposals (permissioned access): View and take action on proposals across all permissioned locations. Saved filters you've created and elected to show on the home screen are displayed here. You can modify that setting under your Profile Settings.
- Invoices (permissioned access): View and take action on invoices across all permissioned locations. Saved filters you've created and elected to show on the home screen are displayed here. You can modify that setting under your Profile Settings.
- Site Planning (permissioned access): Conduct inspections of items at a site by completing configured checklists. See Site Planning Manager in SC Mobile for more information.
- Site Access (permissioned access): View scheduled-to-arrive and checked-in technicians, verify technicians on-site, and scan their badges (if this feature is enabled).
- Manage Assets (permissioned access: Asset Types Attributes and Meter Readings can be edited.
Navigation Bar
The navigation bar is visible from many pages in the SC mobile app.
- Home - Takes you to the the home screen.
- Plus sign - Pops up an action menu allowing you to: Create Work Order, Add Asset, Scan Asset, and Create a Site Plan.
- Search: Use to quickly find:
- Work orders by tracking number, work order number, or purchase order number
- Locations by location ID, partial or full location name, address, zip code, or other related keywords
- Proposals by proposal number
