Features and improvements

Dashboard. With this update, the work order assignee info is available on the WO details page. You immediately see whom to contact when you have questions.

Work Orders. Check what user account has been used to create a work order right on the new WOs list. In the top right corner of each WO, you can find the “Created By” info in addition to the caller name. Note that when “Caller” and “Created By” are the same, we show only the latter.

Work Orders. For the “All Calls (Long Format)” report, we can add the store address instead of showing only the store number. We can also remove the State, Vendor ID, and Provider ID columns from the report. Get in touch with ServiceChannel if you want to adjust your report in this way.

Work Orders. Want to filter your WOs by location open date? We’ve made it possible on our new WOs list. Find the location filters, select Store Open Date, and provide either the desired date or range — and all your WOs get filtered in a flash.

Work Orders. We never stop improving the WOs list. This time, we’ve moved the pagination to the top right corner of the list. Off with long scrolling to navigate between pages!

Bug fixes

Dashboard. On the Areas tab of the dashboard settings, you could neither add nor remove areas because the button for saving your changes was inactive. Everything is in working order again.

Fixxbook. When you tried to add a new tax record for Canadian provinces, the system didn’t allow you to enter the Goods and Services Tax (GST) number. Now you can add that number in Profile Overview > Financial Information > Sales Tax in the following format: 123456789 RT 0001.

General. The work order NTE didn’t update after you approved a proposal. The reason was that this WO had already been invoiced, but you didn’t know that. From now on, we add a WO note clearly stating the reason why the NTE remains unchanged.

Work Orders. On the new WOs list and WO details page, you couldn't assign a new provider to the trade and location associated with a work order. When trying to do that, you got an error.
