Features and improvements

Core modules
API. To enhance data integrity, we have introduced new validation rules for submitting and updating checklist responses via the API. When you send the following two requests, the server will verify input parameters and return an appropriate error code if validation fails:
POST/checklists/ChecklistResponse
PUT/checklists/{checklistResponseId}/ChecklistResponse
Dashboard. Too short and not informative? You could say so about the feedback on provider's work when the comment left by the location manager could literally be just one word long. With this release, you can enforce the comment length to get more informative feedback from your managers. The Enable Minimum Character Limit for Feedback preference is now available under the Feedback tab of the dashboard settings. Here, you can set a minimum number of characters required for star feedback comments.
Dashboard. We've enhanced the accessibility of linked work orders on the work order details page in Dashboard 2.0. The Original WO, Follow Up WO, Original WO (for Recall), and Recall WO fields will be accessible on work orders related to other work orders. The tracking numbers will appear as clickable links to view connected work orders.
Invoices. You can now see invoice labels in the downloaded Invoice and Line Item MS Excel reports. We've added the Label (Includes Label Field) checkbox on the Download Invoices overlay on the invoice list view page. Select this checkbox, and the Label column will be displayed in your downloaded report. Furthermore, if you filter invoices by a specific label before downloading, the resulting report will match those invoices that correspond to your selected label.
Work Orders. Fresh from the oven: you no longer need to search for the specific attachment(s) in the attachment section of the work order details page. The View Attachments link will be added at the bottom of every work order note that indicates an attachment has been added. Click this link to be redirected to a separate page where you can view the added attachments. 📞Contact your ServiceChannel representative to enable the following functionality.
Work Orders. Viewing linked work orders became more manageable. From now on, when a work order is connected to a single or several work orders, you can click the link icon on the work order within the list view page. This will open the Linked Work Orders tab on the work order details page without redirecting you to a separate tab.
Add-on modules
ServiceNow. The ServiceChannel Work Orders widget in ServiceNow! This widget allows you to browse through the list of work orders, filter them by their status, and take action on a selected work order. A user with the admin role can add the ServiceChannel Work Orders widget to the Employee Center - Homepage via Service Portal > Service Portal Configuration > Designer > Employee Center Homepage. Upon editing, ensure you specify the page name where the widget will be placed.
Bug fixes

Core modules
Asset Manager. You couldn't update the primary trade for the asset type when the assets of this type were already associated with work orders. Trying to add the existing primary trade to the list of additional trades for the asset type didn't help. Now, the primary trade of an asset type can be changed if the current primary trade is added to additional trades of this asset type.
Dashboard. On the Issue List Converter page > Issue Lists block, the Download button was obscured if the issue list name was too long. It prevented you from downloading the desired issue list. Now, the Issue Lists block's size adjusts according to the file name's length, ensuring that the Download button is always visible and accessible.
Dashboard. Those who used the platform in languages other than English have noticed that some information on the Issue List Converter page would be still displayed in English. This version addresses some of those translation gaps.
Locations & Provider Assignments. After you filtered locations by trade(s) and downloaded the provider assignments report, you could notice the Category column was empty in the result file. We have identified and addressed this issue, ensuring you receive complete and accurate information in your reports. This issue affected only those who have the ability to assign provider to a trade and categories combination.
Planned Maintenance Manager. On the Planned Maintenance > PM Services page, the user menu in the top left corner was overlapped. Thus, you couldn't see all available options on the menu. No more overlapping!
Planned Maintenance Manager. On the PM Service > PM Frequency > Locations page, the names of the providers were absent from the Providers column, making it difficult for you to identify the associated provider. This issue has been addressed, and provider names are now clearly visible.
