When you want to find a provider for specific trades in needed regions, start the provider search process by entering the desired trade and the required search area in the Search fields. For example, the Plumbing trade in New York Mills, Minnesota, United States.

Should you need to find an exact company to perform facility services, you can start typing the provider’s company name in the first Search field.

You can use Provider Search in multiple ways to ensure your target goal of finding the right providers has been reached.

Expand the section to learn more about other ways of provider search depending on your goals.
Goal Best Way to Start
I want to explore high-performing providers for future projects.

Use the first two Discovery cards to view the best providers in their industry.

I want to expand my coverage to ensure all my locations have providers for repair and maintenance services.

Use the third Discovery card to explore providers for specific areas with fewer than 3 providers assigned.

You can also use the cards below the Coverage Map to view the list of providers for a specific trade and location.

I want to know if I need to replace any of my In-Network providers with better-performing ones and view the list of top providers in the same trade.

Contact your ServiceChannel manager to enable Network Opportunities

To explore new opportunities for replacing low-performing providers, use Opportunity Cards. Compare your current provider’s performance and choose one from the top performance list of providers in the same trade as your current provider.

If you have Network Opportunities enabled, the background behind the Search fields may look different, though the functionality remains the same.

Searching for Providers

You can search for providers either by trade and location or by their business name.

⦿ How to Search for Providers in Provider Search

    1. (Searching by Trade) Enter a trade name.
    2. (Searching by Provider Name) Enter the business name of the provider.
    3. (Searching by keyword) When you are uncertain of the exact trade name or provider business name, start entering its first letters to view suggestions. Select the desired option from the list.
  2. In the Location search field, enter either a city/state or zip/postal code, and then click the magnifying glass icon 🔍.
    1. (When searching by Trade/Location) The Search Results page opens.

    2. (When searching by Provider Name) The profile page in Provider Search appears.

Once you have completed the search fields, you can filter providers by criteria to narrow your search results and compare providers’ performance and KPIs to make the best choice.

Provider Recommendation Map

The Provider Recommendation Map loads on the main page and displays all of your locations. The areas highlighted in red show low coverage for providers and trades. The main purpose of the Provider Recommendation Map is to collect information about the areas that need your attention and help you find top-performing providers who service the corresponding trades.

Before the map loads, a pop-up appears where fixxbook.servicechannel.com asks you to allow it to use your current location, which is recommended.

Allow fixxbook.servicechannel.com to know your location

  • If you click Allow, the map zooms in to your current location.
  • If you click Block or close the pop-up, the map is displayed zoomed out over the US.

Note that the pop-up may look a bit different depending on the browser you are using.
