Retrieving a Forgotten User ID/Password in Dashboard 2.0

Sometimes a User ID or Password is forgotten. If this happens, you may retrieve your credentials through the Service Automation login page.

For users who login to Service Automation through a corporate portal, contact your IT department if you forget your internal password.

⦿ How to Retrieve User ID or Password Information

You may only retrieve a password, not reset (or change) a password. To reset your password, please contact your internal ServiceChannel administrator.

  1. On the login page, click Forgot Password? 
  2. Enter your User ID or email, and then click Send. Based on the permissions assigned, you may or may not be able to reset your password.

In case you are authorized to reset your password, a confirmation message appears stating that a link has been sent to your email address. You may reset your password by following the instructions in the email.

Further Assistance

The email you receive will have a built-in link to ServiceChannel Support. Replying to the email will open a ticket in the support system, and a ServiceChannel Support team member will contact and further assist you.
