Sorting Proposals in Provider Automation

Using the Sorting tool, you can arrange proposals by individual parameters or by selecting several custom parameters. 

Sorting Proposals by Individual Parameters

You can sort proposals by selecting one of the following parameters: 

  • Date 

  • Proposal Number 

  • Trade 

  • Location ID 

  • Status 

  • Subscriber 

Quick Tips

  • You can sort proposals by selecting several parameters at once with the help of the Custom Sort... tool.

How to Sort Proposals by Individual Parameters

 

  1. Select one of the sorting parameters from the drop-down menu. 
    In this example, the Proposals List is arranged by trade and displayed in alphabetical order.

  2. (Optional) To reverse the order, click the toggle switch icon.

Sorting Proposals by Custom Sorting Parameters

The Custom Sort feature allows you to sort data by up to three parameters, applying them sequentially across multiple levels for more refined control. 

Quick Tips

  • By default, the order is descending ↓. Should you have switched the order, the sorting order will be ascending.  

    Ascending ↑ order examples: 

    • Small to Large (Amount) 

    • A to Z (Provider Name)  

    • Newest to Oldest (Date) 

    Descending ↓ order examples:  

    • Large to Small (Amount) 

    • Z to A (Provider Name)  

    • Oldest to Newest (Date)

How to Sort Proposals by Custom Parameters

 

  1. On the Sorting tool, select Custom Sort.

  2. In the window that appears, select the first sorting parameter to arrange proposals by, for example, by Status.

  3. Select the second parameter in the Then By dropdown. For example, by Date. 

  4. Select the third parameter in the last Then By dropdown. For example, by Subscriber.  

  5. Click Apply.
    Thus, the Proposals List is now arranged in the following order:

    1. By status, from Rejected to Approved statuses.

    2. By date, from the oldest to the most recent 

    3. By subscribers in the reversed alphabetical order from Z to A 

The sorting will be reset after you update the page or when you change the sorting parameter.
