Here you can learn how to access Inventory Manager and what sections are available to you within this module.

⦿ How to Access Inventory Manager
  1. Click the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner of Service Automation, and pick the desired section under Inventory.
    1. Locations: Leads you to the list of inventory locations.
    2. Parts Catalog: Opens the page where all parts live.
    3. Reports: Allows you to view part usage and replenishment reports.

Accessing the Inventory Manager module from the home page

You land on the Inventory page with the selected section open. Actions you can perform within the module depend on your role and permissions.

Inventory Manager module in Service Automation

The Inventory page can be divided into seven sections.

  1. Navigation tabs. Two main tabs — Locations and Parts Catalog — are available at the top of the page. Switch between the tabs to view the required information.
  2. Filters panel. Below the navigation tabs, you can click Filter By and select the desired criteria to filter your locations or parts.
  3. Upload and Download buttons. Use these buttons to import and export inventory information via templates.
  4. Sorting criteria. Column headers serve as sorting criteria.
  5. Results section. This area displays the list of inventory locations or parts based on the selected tab and applied filters.
  6. Create Report button. Click this button in the upper-right corner to build parts usage or replenishment summary reports.
  7. Pagination. You can set how many rows of information should be displayed per page as well as switch between pages by using arrows.
