You can configure business hours and holidays for all your locations by applying global settings, which allows you to control when technicians can service work orders on site. If internal facility teams or service providers are not available outside of the specified operating hours, you may need to redirect high priority and emergency requests to other providers.
Depending on your configuration of work order priorities, the business hours of locations may affect the scheduled date and time of work orders.
You can manage the business hours of your locations by specifying when they open and close.
⦿ How to Configure Global Business Hours
In the hamburger menu, select Admin > Location Settings > Business Hours.
Under Business Hours, choose which settings should take precedence by selecting the corresponding option:
Override Location Hours: Global settings that you are currently configuring on the Admin - Location Settings page will override individual location hours.
Important
Once you override location hours, you cannot restore your previous settings for each individual location. This action cannot be undone.
In the hamburger menu, select Admin > Location Settings > Business Hours, and navigate to the Holidays section.
Click Add a Holiday.
In the overlay for creating a holiday, do the following:
Enter a holiday name.
Choose a holiday date.
Select how often the holiday occurs by choosing a frequency, and then specify on what days of the month or week the holiday repeats.
Next to Hours, enter the business hours of the location on the holiday. If the location is closed on the specified day, select the Closed All Day checkbox.
Click Save Holiday to save the changes.
The global holiday is saved, and the business hours you specified get applied to that day.
To edit a holiday, click it, and make the required changes in the overlay that appears.
