When work orders are created outside of business hours or during holidays, service providers and internal facility teams may not be available at the moment to review and take action on work orders. High priority or emergency work orders should be redirected to a provider who is available during those hours.
You can manage the business hours of a location by specifying when it opens and closes.
⦿ How to Configure Business Hours for a Single Location
From the hamburger menu in the upper-left corner of the page, select Locations & Provider Assignments. The Locations page appears.
Click the desired location. You get to the location details page.
Navigate to the Business Hours tab.
Under Business Hours, specify the operating hours for each day of the week. For days when the location is closed, select the checkbox under Closed All Day.
When ready, click Save Business Hours Changes to save the changes.
The operating hours are updated for the location.
Managing Holidays for a Location
Once you have configured business hours for a location, you can specify when the location is closed for public holidays.
⦿ How to Create a Holiday for a Location
On the Business Hours tab of the location details page, navigate to the Holidays section.
To add a holiday, click Add a Holiday.
In the overlay for creating a holiday, do the following:
Enter a holiday name.
Choose a holiday date.
Select how often the holiday occurs by choosing a frequency, and then specify on what days of the month or week the holiday repeats.
Next to Hours, enter the business hours of the location on the holiday. If the location is closed on the specified day, select the Closed All Day checkbox.
Click Save Holiday to save the changes.
The holiday is saved, and the business hours you specified get applied to that day.
To edit a holiday, click it, and make the required changes in the overlay that appears.
You may need to delete a holiday if the business hours on that day don't differ from the regular weekly operating hours of that location.
⦿ How to Delete a Holiday for a Location
On the Business Hours tab of the location details page, navigate to the Holidays section.
Under Holidays, click the holiday you want to delete.
In the overlay that appears, click Delete Holiday.
