Managing Asset Attachments in SC Provider Mobile

Clients can provide access to manage attachments on work orders with assets and during asset creation in SC Provider Mobile. When permission is granted, you can upload up to 10 attachments which includes photos. When uploading attachments or photos, there is the ability to select from your device’s gallery or take a photo with the device. Attachments can be modified or removed at any time. Attachments become available immediately for you and the client after uploaded and saved. 


⦿ How to Add Attachments on Work Orders with Assets in SC Provider Mobile
  1. Locate Attachments on an asset record
  2. Click the Photo tab to open the modal

  3. Select one of two choices
    1. Take a new photo
    2. Choose from gallery
  4. Add images from gallery or taken photos
  5. Click the Save button to add photos to the work order

You cannot add a title and description when adding attachments to work orders.

Adding Attachments when Creating a New Asset

When new assets are being created in SC Provider Mobile the process allows for adding attachments along with the asset information.

⦿ How to Add Attachments when Creating an Assets in SC Provider Mobile
  1. Click Create a New Asset button to create an asset
  2. Fill out required information
  3. Click the Photo tab to open the modal
    Open Photo modal
  4. Select one of two choices:
    1. Take a new photo
    2. Choose from gallery
  5. Add title and description to image
  6. Click the Done link to add title and description
  7. Click the OK button on the modal
  8. Click the Submit button to finalize the asset creation with attachments 


You can add a title and description when adding attachments while creating a new asset.
