Business Hours and After Hours Capabilities

When work orders are created outside of business hours or during Holidays, service providers and internal facility teams might not be available at the moment to review and take action on the work orders. For cases in which these WOs are in a high priority or emergency, these WOs should be redirected to someone who is available at that time.

In Service Automation, admin users have the ability to set up operating hours, and create and set Holidays across all locations or specific locations. Business hours can be set up by different days of the week, and the Holidays can be set up with the desired frequency. When setting up business hours, you have the ability to specify the time zone of the location so                                                                                                        


⦿ How to Set Business Hours Across All Locations
  1. From the top hamburger menu, click Admin > Location Settings > Business Hours, the Business Hours page appears.
  2. On the Business Hours page, fill in the business hours for the desired locations, then click Save Business Hours Changes button. The business hours have been set for all locations.

⦿ How to Create & Set Holidays Across all Locations
  1. From the top hamburger menu, click Admin > Location Settings > Business Hours, the Business Hours page appears.
  2. On the Business Hours page, click Add a Holiday button, the Holidays pop up appears.
  3. Fill out Holiday Name, Holiday Date, and Holiday Frequency. Once you choose the Holiday Frequency, the correspondent detailed preference selections appear.
  4. Specify the desired repeat frequency, repeat day, and working hours.
  5. Click Save Holiday button to save the changes, then close the popup window.
⦿ How to Delete Holidays Across All Locations
  1. From the top hamburger menu, click Admin > Location Settings > Business Hours, the Business Hours page appears.
  2. On the Business Hours page, click Add a Holiday button, the Holidays pop up appears.
  3. Click on the Holiday you want to delete, the Holidays pop up appears.
  4. Click Delete holiday button, the correspondent holiday has been deleted for all locations.

  1. From the top hamburger menu, click Locations & Provider Assignments, the Location page appears.
  2. Click on the desired location, the Location details page appears.
  3. From the top tabs, click Business Hours tab. The Business Hours page appears.
  4. On the Business Hours page, fill in the business hours for the desired location, then click Save Business Hours Changes button. The business hours have been set for the location.
