Cloning Checklists allows for current checklists to be used when the location and/or combination on the checklist is changed. For instance, an active checklist has become very effective for one location and there is a need to share. Cloning the checklist and changing the location offers the same exact checklist to serve another location. Cloning can be used as a time saving tool to create multiple checklist list at a faster rate verses creating a single checklist at a time. 


You must change the location and/or combination when cloning a checklist. Each checklist must be unique. 

Cloning a Checklist

When cloning a checklist, you can make changes throughout the entire checklist. This includes:

  1. Creating a new name
  2. Updating Segment Questions
  3. Adding new Segment Questions


Segment Questions are not required to be changed to clone a checklist. 


⦿ How to Clone a Repair Checklist
  1. Select a Checklist from the list to clone then click the Clone button to open the modal.
     
  2. Use the textbox to create a new name.

  3. Optional: Change the location(s).
  4. Optional: Change the Trade/Category combination.
  5. Optional: Update or Add Segment Questions.
  6. Click the Save button to add the clone checklist. 
⦿ How to Clone a Planned Maintenance Checklist
  1. Locate the Planned Maintenance Checklist and click the Clone button to open the modal.
  2. Create a new unique name.

  3. Select Planned Maintenance Frequency.
  4. Optional: Update or Add Segment Questions.
  5. Click the Save button to add the clone checklist.
