Canceling a ProjectAt any point during the project lifecycle, you can cancel a project. Canceling a project stops the lifecycle from moving forward and shows the status on the projects tab. There can be multiple reasons for canceling a project such as having to assess the length of time needed for the completion of a project or is it the right time to continue pursuing a project. This gives you the opportunity to review what is needed before making a final decision about a project.
When a project is in Canceled Status, tasks already added to a project prior to cancellation are still active and can be invoiced. You will not be able to add any new task once a project is canceled. A project that has a budget will not be impacted by the cancellation. A project can remain in canceled status until it is reopened, marked as completed, or deleted.
