Features and improvements

Core modules

Asset Manager. We've improved the validation of entered information for the Work Order Area and Condition columns in the MS Excel asset template on the Asset Upload page. If you entered a work order area or condition that does not exist, you'll see one of the following error messages in the result file: Invalid Condition value. or Work Order Area does not exist.

Asset Manager. We've updated the top navigation bar on all Assets (Equipment) module pages to match the visual style of the Summary page.

Planned Maintenance Manager. To have everything in one place, we've added the Asset Tags and Asset Merged columns to the MS Excel PM report.

Work Orders. Declining the already accepted work order, you'll now see an auto-generated action required note stating that the decline was unsuccessful.

Work Orders. From now on, when the work order status changes via the auto-close process, the work order note will include details about prior and current work order status.

Bug fixes

Core modules

Admin. In some cases, you've been logged out of Service Automation even if your inactivity time didn't exceed the time set in the ServiceChannel Web Inactivity Timeout section on the Admin-Permissions > Security > Inactivity Timeout page. We’ve caught and eliminated the culprit that caused the issue.

ALP. Occasionally, you could see discrepancies between the number of work orders in the Work Orders sections on the Actionable Landing Page (ALP) and work order list view pages. We've done away with these discrepancies.

Asset Manager. Previously, on the Asset (Equipment) >Asset Category and Types > Manage Asset Types page, disabling the View checkbox in the Standard Attributes section automatically selected the Hide checkbox. Now the Hide checkbox remains unchecked.

Dashboard. Previously, you could see 10 dashboards maximum in the dashboards selection drop-down. The maximum number of dashboards you can see in the drop-down is limited to 8 in Dashboard 1.0 and 16 in Dashboard 2.0 now.

Work Orders. For work orders created via PM template, you couldn't see the work order extended status under the Status History tab on the work order details view page. We've brought it back.

Work Orders. Providers couldn't accept work orders via email if they tried to do that using iOS. We've fixed this issue.

Work Orders. When you tried to resolve action required notes on work orders one by one or in bulk, you could saw the following error message: An error occured while resolving notes for work order. Now you can resolve action required notes without a hitch.

Add-on modules

Projects. Selecting Update Task while editing a task under the Task List tab on the project details view page, the page got stuck on loading and left you sitting on the fence. No more worries about this issue.
