Configuring Inventory Manager consists of several steps:

  • Specifying which of your locations store inventory
  • Uploading inventory parts to your parts catalog
  • Adding stock to each inventory location
  • Assigning inventory permissions to employees in your organization and to your FTM internal technicians
  • Configuring the rules for inventory store transfers
  • Setting up the restocking schedule 

As an admin, you can perform the three last actions from the Inventory Admin section. There are three menu subsections:

  • Inventory Administration: You can set up inventory transfer rules and restocking schedule.
  • Subscriber Permissions: You can assign the corresponding inventory roles and permissions to the employees in your organization.
  • FTM Provider Permissions: You can assign inventory permissions to your FTM internal providers.
