By tapping the distance indicator on a work order in the list view, you will be taken to a map view of the location.

  • Navigate to the work order's primary screen
  • The distance from the work order location is listed in miles.

  • Tap the back arrow to return to the work order screen

    You can zoom in to take a closer view at the location.

    The red bubble on the map shows how many work orders are currently assigned to a you at this location.

    When you view a work order assigned to another technician, the blue pin icon indicates the location whereabouts.

    Knowing this information may help you upon check-in/out activities since you must be within a specific geographical boundary before ServiceChannel Provider will allow you to check in to a work order. Contact your admin to learn what the allowed GPS radius for check-in is.

    Note

    For the distance to be displayed in the mobile app, the location should have the latitude and longitude specified on the location details page in Service Automation.
