title⦿ How to Search for a Work Order
  1. Select the desired criteria under the Search by column.

    infoIn the upper-left corner of the Homepage, select the desired search indicator in the drop-down list.
  2. The Tracking # option is selected by default.
  3. Enter the appropriate number(s) in the text area.
    • (Manually entering numbers)  Type each number into the text Text field. For multiple numbers, separate each one by either a comma (,) or a semicolon (;).
    • (Copying and pasting from a spreadsheet)  Copy a row or column from an Excel or CSV file, and then paste in the text area.
  4. Click  FindSearch. The Work Order Orders List appears listing the work order(s) matching your criteriathe entered number(s).

Search Criteria

You can find work orders by using either an Exact search term or a Starting With search termthe Exact Search or Starting with search terms.

Exact SearchStarting with search
:

Certain search criteria, such as Tracking numbers or Location IDs, are searchable only by their full, precise number. You cannot use a partial term to search for records using

an Exact search

the Exact Search.

The beginning of the term used to search must match the beginning of the desired record.
For example

, when searching for Tracking # 12345678, you can only use “12345678” to search. Partial terms, such as “123” or “12345,” will not pull up the desired records

You may search for all work

title⦿ How to Search for All Work Orders by Location ID
  1. Under the Find All Work Orders for Location ID column, enter the desired Location IDIn the upper-left corner of the Homepage, select Location ID in the drop-down list.
  2. (Optional) Uncheck Select the  Exclude Maintenance box checkbox to include exclude maintenance work orders in from your search. See Exclude Maintenance, below.
  3. Click  Find Search. The   Work Order List   appears with all work orders for that location generated in the past 90 days3 months.

When you search for work orders using the Location ID,

only non-

maintenance and repair work orders will

typically

appear

. Should you need to also view maintenance work orders, uncheck Exclude Maintenance

in search results. To exclude them from your search, select the Excluded in the Maintenance: drop-down.

Note

The Exclude

Maintenance 

Maintenance checkbox only refers to work orders created by clients through the Planned Maintenance module. Client-created categories with the term "maintenance" in the title are not affected by this feature.
