By setting up leak detectors as independent assets, you will be able to place work order requests for them and track the cost of their use.


Note

Before you create leak detector assets, you should create the leak detector asset type

title⦿ How to Create Leak Detection Assets
  1. Navigate to Assets (Equipment) > Manage Assets. You land on the assets list.

  2. Click the Add button.

  3. Select:
    1. The Location from the drop-down menu.
    2. Enter the Physical/Serving Area.
    3. Select the Leak Detector asset type you've created earlier.

      Once you select an asset type, additional fields appear.


  4. Provide the required information on the leak detector.

    Fields with red asterisks * are required.


  5. Provide Additional Information as needed.

  6. Click the Add Asset button.

The Leak Detector has been added to the Asset Manager database.
