In SC Mobile, you can set alerts to notify you on work order activityget notified about technicians' check-ins and check-outs. This is beneficial so you are aware of any changes or updates as soon as they occur. Alerts appear on your mobile device, like any other mobile notification.

You can set an alert for:

Contractor Check-ins to notify you when a contractor arrives on your site and checks into a work order. 
Note: Turn on this alert to assist you with granting access to service providers in Site Access. See “Granting Access and Viewing Access Granted Technicians”

Your can receive push notifications, email notifications, or both.

If you are using Site Access and want to verify technicians or scan their badges, you can turn on the check-in alert to stay in the know when exactly specific technicians arrive on-site. See Site Access for SC Mobile for more information.

title⦿ How to set an AlertEnable Alerts for a Location


Note

You can only configure alerts for one location at a time.

  1. On the SC Mobile home pagescreen, tap Alerts.
  2. Tap the + icon next to Set an Alert. The Set Alert Location(s) drop down menu appears.
  3. Tap the Set Alert Location(s) drop down menu to  to locate your desired location, and then tap the location. The list of configurable alerts appears.
  4. Tap the red Choose for which events you want to enable alerts — check-ins, check-outs, or both — and tap the toggle next to each the desired alert to turn it on.type:
    • Push Notification
    • Email
  5. Tap I’m Done, Save. The selected location appears on the top of the + icon.Click the circle x on the top right corner to exit Alerts. Notifications screen.

  1. On the SC Mobile home pagescreen, tap Alerts. The list of locations with alerts turned on appears.
  2. Tap the x icon to the right of the desired location. The selected location is removed from the list, and you will no longer receive alerts.
  3. Click the circle x on the top right corner to exit Alerts.

Heading 2 looks like this - choose Heading 2 and then change the color to the top row, 5th from the left.

Completing Work Orders Check Out Alert

Due to the potential volume of daily work order alerts, receiving alerts for each one could be very difficult to manage. Within the alerts, you can use the Only for Completed Work Orders toggle to help manage alerts. This is used when you only want to receive an alert that a work order is in Completed status. Having the toggle on informs you that each check out alert indicates a work order has been finalized.
