Editing a Project

Any project can be edited. Editing a project means having to edit the original information when Creating a Project. There could be changes to a project that may not been foreseen and therefore edits are required. For example, when editing a project, you may decide the Project Manager and Project Type needs editing. Only Location ID on a project cannot be edited.  Any edits will be seen in History as it is part of the project's history

Deleting a Project

You can delete a project from Projects Module. Deleting means there will be no record of the project. For instance, there are duplicate projects for a single location, you can delete the extra project. When a project with tasks is deleted during the scoping process, Service Providers are not impacted because those tasks were not issued out.  Deleting a project in the In Progress status can be done. The project is deleted but any tasks associated with the project does not get deleted and remains in Service Automation with the Project ID and WO numbers. A project cannot be deleted in Completed status.
