At anytime, a project can be modified. The Actions button is located inside a project on the upper right hand side. In most cases, the Actions button is used when a project is ready to be Mark as Completed in the Project Lifecycle. When a project is Completed, you cannot add any additional tasks. You not may remove any task from Tasks Lists from a project that is Completed.

- In a project, click the Actions button to open the button options.
- Click Mark as Completed link to change the Project Lifecycle status.
- Click the Yes button to confirm the project is completed and the Project Lifecycle status will change to Completed.

Editing a Project
Any project can be edited. Editing a project means having to edit the original information when Creating a Project. There could be changes to a project that may not been foreseen and therefore edits are required. For example, when editing a project, you may decide the Project Manager and Project Type needs editing. Only Location ID on a project cannot be edited. Any edits will be seen in History as it is part of the project's history.

Deleting a Project
You can delete a project from Projects Module. Deleting a project means there will be no record of the project. For instance, there are duplicate projects for a single location, you can delete the extra project. When a project with tasks is deleted during the scoping process, Service Providers are not impacted because those tasks were not issued out. Deleting a project in the In Progress Project Lifecycle status can be done, the . The project is deleted but any tasks associated with the project does not get deleted and remains in Service Automation with the Project ID and WO numbers. A project cannot be deleted in Completed status.

Create Template in a Project
You can Create a Template when modifying a project. You may decide during the lifecycle of a particular project for the need to create a template for similar projects in the future. Instead of going into Templates Tab to create a template, it can be built while in a project. The process for creating a template in a project differs from creating a template through Templates Tab. The required information to create a template is still when asked to provide a name and description for the template. The result of creating the template this way adds it into in a project gets added into Templates Tab.
