Validate the accuracy of your asset inventory
You can't proactively manage assets if your data is out of date. Now you can enable employees to periodically validate the presence of assets using the ServiceChannel mobile app. They can easily edit details or add missing assets while onsite. With more accurate asset data, you can make smart repair vs. replace decisions and streamline your capital planning.
This is an add-on. Reach out to your account manager for more information.
Automatically validate material prices on invoices and proposals
Building on the existing invoice and proposal validation for labor rates and time, you can now easily check the accuracy of parts and material prices for additional cost savings. When providers add specified parts or material markups to an invoice or proposal, the platform validates against your negotiated prices and alerts you of any discrepancies. You no longer need to manually review parts prices, saving you from overpaying and wasting time.
This is an add-on. Reach out to your account manager for more information.
Boost provider performance with Contractor Scorecard 2.0
Continuously improve provider performance with new insights from the redesigned Contractor Scorecard 2.0. The new Scorecard helps you identify opportunities to improve service, reduce costs, and change coverage across your locations. Updated metric calculations align with Provider Search and deliver the accurate business insights and fair assessments you and your providers expect. And by giving your providers the same easy access to insights, you can have more productive conversations and a stronger partnership.
Apply international settings across the platform
No more getting confused about whether month or day comes first, or about how to read an address. You and your providers can now customize date formats, time formats, and monetary values (like decimal separator) to suit your preferences. Addresses and currency codes will be formatted automatically.
Reach out to your Customer Success Manager for help with adjusting your settings.
Move multiple projects forward with bulk actions
To save you time, you can now create and update projects in bulk rather than taking individual actions. Look for the new bulk action buttons to create, approve, or dispatch any project, work order, or RFP.
Provider Comparison Tool in Search
You can now compare the providers you find in Search with just a few clicks. The Provider Comparison Tool allows for side-by-side comparison of up to five providers based on KPIs, so you can easily make data-driven decisions about which providers are right for you.
Schedule and capture inventory cycle counts
Inventory managers can now count and record inventory on hand at each location to ensure the totals captured in Inventory Manager are correct. Avoid surprises at tax time and be confident that the information provided to your accounting department is accurate and up –to date.
Planned maintenance checklists
Ensure that your scope of planned maintenance is being completed every time with checklists for PM work orders. For example, define different checklists for HVAC maintenance and inspections to occur at quarterly and annual frequencies. Now you can be confident that your assets and your brand standards are being maintained effectively.
Update additional approval codes in proposals
You can now update GL and Additional Approval Codes directly while taking action on a proposal, without having to navigate back to the work order.
Compare year-over-year program costs
See trends over time in invoice spend with a new standard Analytics dashboard called Year-Over-Year Cost Comparison. Changes in labor, material, and total costs can be viewed by trade, provider, and geographic region, so you can see what’s affecting your budget most.
Capture asset data with help from your providers
Keep your asset data complete and accurate with help from your providers by enabling them to capture, bulk upload, and edit asset records, including asset tag data, on your behalf. You can have providers capture the data when they’re already onsite, rather than paying a third party or doing it yourself.
Seamlessly create RFPs from work orders
When creating an RFP from a work order, the work order description and attachments will now be copied over automatically. You can also more easily add attachments during RFP creation.
Request that providers attach digital invoices
You can now request that your providers attach a digital copy of their invoice, so you have immediate access to the details you need and don’t need to ask for it later.
Disable priority values
When you’ve stopped using a certain priority value, you can now mark it as “non-selectable” to prevent it from being assigned to new work orders. The disabled priority value is not deleted because it’s associated with existing work orders.
Identify work orders with linked work orders
You and your providers can now filter work orders for those with a linked work order, making them easier to identify.
