ServiceChannel and Accruent Observe

ServiceChannel and Accruent Observe are integrating to support Asset Uptime Data throughout all ServiceChannel. Accruent Observe is an Internet of Things (IoT) remote monitoring and control solution that is designed to help buildings and their assets (equipment) in a more resourceful manner where the focus is on energy efficiency. The integration provides:

1. Hardware-agnostic: Works with existing systems and equipment, avoiding costly replacements
2. Smart Alarms: Filters out false alarms and highlight critical issues needing immediate attention
3. Predictive maintenance: Identify potential issues before they cause downtime with the ability to save money and resources

Collaborating between ServiceChannel and Accruent Observe 

The integration between the two software establishes various important partnerships. Some of the main partnerships are:

1. Location Integration: Locations between ServiceChannel and Accruent Observe are synchronized as a basic pillar to the integration, making sure both systems are completely aligned at the foundation
2. Asset Integration: Assets between ServiceChannel and Accruent Observe are synchronized so that both systems share the same information about assets
3. Work Order Creation: Based on the setup of Accruent Observe’s rules, one of the most important aspects of this integration is the automatic creation of work orders. When an alarm is triggered in Accruent Observe a work order is automatically created in ServiceChannel, synched to the asset, tied to the location and dispatched to a provider or an internal stakeholder
4. Work Order Grouping: If multiple alarms are triggered at the same time, they can be grouped together using the “Linked Work Orders” feature in ServiceChannel for easy tracking
5. Work Order Updates: If alarm information is updated, notes and problem descriptions can be updated in real-time from Accruent Observe over to ServiceChannel.
