SC Provider 1909.2 Android RNs

Features and improvements

General. You can mute work order notifications without putting your device on silent. How to do that? In the app settings, select the desired type of WO alerts, hit the Silent toggle, and tap OK. Done!

Bug fixes

General. Should you be an internal tech, we no longer pester you with push notifications asking you to check out — in case you set your activity to travel and move out of the WO location range.

General. Stay abreast of ServiceChannel terms and conditions. You can easily access the info on our terms of service or cookie and privacy policies by following the links at the bottom of the login or home screen. Apologies for failing to display the links before.

General. We kept on sending push notifications asking you to check into a work order even when it had already been completed. You don’t receive these misleading alerts anymore because most often we don't allow checking into completed service requests.

Refrigerant Tracking Manager. When external providers check out of a completed WO and opt to enter the refrigerant info later, we move the WO to the “Completed / Pending Refrigerant Use” status. Previously, the app changed the WO status incorrectly.

Work Orders. After checking out of a work order, internal techs couldn’t open the details of this WO. An error message popped up saying the WO was not found.

Work Orders. After external providers reset filters on the WOs screen, all statuses got selected instead of the three default ones: “Open”, “In progress”, and “Pending Confirmation”. The app now correctly returns filters to their default state.

Work Orders. For external providers trying to view an emergency map for a WO location, we’ve added a spinner to show the map is still loading. We didn’t show such a hint before, and you had no idea why the map didn’t open.

Work Orders. On the empty WOs screen, we asked everyone to search for a WO even though some of you didn't have to do that. Now we show that message only to those who should first search for a WO before starting working on it.
