2024 Release 2 for Providers

Updates to empower your business

Help to ensure you get the right work orders

Very often, when service providers decline work orders, it’s simply because of a mismatch between the customer’s needs and the coverage information in the provider’s profile. Now, if you are declining work orders in a certain trade or geographic service area, you may get prompts on your provider homepage to update that information in your provider profile.

Take Action:

  • Log in to ServiceChannel and click the “profile” tab at the top of your homepage.

  • Check to make sure your profile is complete, and your trades and service coverage are accurately represented.

  • Update your profile whenever you receive a prompt or your business changes.

Taking these steps now will help ensure you’re not missing the work orders that match your capabilities or having to decline work orders that don’t. Having a complete, accurate profile also boosts your chances of being discovered and invited by new customers using ServiceChannel Provider Search.

Original contractor scorecard retired

When we launched a new version of the contractor scorecard in July of 2023, we pledged to keep the original available to give facilities teams who had the original integrated into their provider evaluation systems enough time to update to the new one.

As of this week, the original scorecard version has been retired and the new scorecard is the only option available:

The new scorecard is fully aligned with the algorithms behind ServiceChannel Provider Search. It gives you and your customers the same, near real-time view of where you stand and what you can do to improve:

  • New price and engagement scores highlight your cost effectiveness and how well you use the ServiceChannel platform.

  • A deeper view on all scores (Speed, Quality, Price, and Engagement) enables you to drill down to the key performance indicators (KPIs) that make up your scores — and get this information for specific customers and work orders.

  • Powerful filters enable you to benchmark your performance against your true peers—other providers in the same trades and geographic areas, serving customers in the same industry.

You will no longer receive automated reports from the original scorecard. However, you can easily generate even more insightful reports from the new scorecard.
