Features and improvements

Dashboard. During the creation of a linked work order, you don’t have to transfer all attachments from the original WO anymore. Our new feature lets you pick the files you need to copy, which is especially useful when attachments contain sensitive info. Our team can turn this feature on for you — just make us know you want it!

Work Orders. Don’t want your employees to move work orders to particular statuses? You can cut down the list of available statuses in Admin > WO Properties > Statuses. Watch for the Can Select column under the subscriber options.

Work Orders. For linked work orders that have attachments transferred from original service requests, you can delete invoice-related files. On the linked WO details page, hit the trash icon next to an unwanted invoice attachment, and confirm your action. To start using this feature, message your ServiceChannel representative.

Work Orders. In the Work Order Assignment section of Provider Automation, reports and templates with auto-assignment rules contain a new column called Last Name, First Name. Now that you have employees’ names within the Excel files, you can quickly understand who is responsible for what.

Bug fixes

Admin. In Locations & Provider Assignments, some of you had no way to download a report on provider assignments. Once you filtered locations by provider, trade, or rank, clicked Provider Assignments for # Locations, and opted for the Displayed Records radio button in the opened overlay, you faced an error message saying that your report could not be generated.

Admin. In Microsoft Edge, when you navigated to the User Management section of Provider Automation, the page layout was broken — the top navigation bar items and all hamburger menu sections appeared as plain text and not as links.

Admin. When you created or edited a checklist, clicked Save CheckList, and rushed to another module, your changes were lost. Now we disallow you to move further until we save your updates.

Asset Manager. When uploading assets via a text template failed, some of you didn’t receive a report on errors so that you could correct and resubmit the file. It happened when text files contained indents and line breaks within the cells. Now we are more helpful and point you to the treacherous rows. Important! When several rows face the same issue, we name only the first row with this error.

Compliance Manager. On the top navigation bar, you saw a Clients tab that was not supposed to be there at all and appeared by mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

General. There was an interface issue with the hamburger menu ☰ that displayed strange blocks of text when you hit RFPs / Proposals. All this happened when you tried to access the proposals menu section while being within the Planned Maintenance module.

Invoices. You could have spotted interface glitches on the Paid tab — the line separating one invoice from another was missing, and the invoice status color was not green. With our magic wand, we’ve brought everything back!

Work Orders. In some cases, the just created work orders didn’t pop up on the WOs list. The reason behind was the time zone issue that we managed to eradicate.
