Under Tab 1 of the User Permissions Report you will find the following reports:
Location Access displays each user, whether the user is active or inactive in Service Automation, and the access levels by Location, District, and Region.
- Dashboard Access displays the dashboard access and corporate access of each user (Power User / Admin User / Super Admin User).
- NTE Approval Limits displays NTE limits and currency, NTE limit updates, the user's last login date, and the work order trades the user is permitted to access.
You can download these reports onto your local drive for sharing, viewing, and further data manipulation.
Location Access Report
The Location Access report displays each user, whether the user is active or inactive in Service Automation, and the access levels by Location, District, and Region.
The following data is listed in the report, sortable by these column headers:
UserID
UserName associated with the User ID
Email associated with the User ID
Active_Disabled shows whether the User ID is marked as an Active account or a Disabled account
- Location Permitted shows the list of Location IDs the user has access
- District Permitted shows the list of Districts the user has access
Region Permitted shows the list of Regions the user has access
The value (empty value) indicates the user has access to all Locations, Districts, or Regions.
Dashboard Access Report
The Dashboard Access report displays the dashboard access and corporate access of each user (Power User / Admin User / Super Admin User).
The following data is listed in the report, sortable by these column headers:
UserID
RedirecttoDashboard indicates whether the user has only Dashboard access
DashboardPermissions indicates whether the user is a Dashboard Power User or Administrator
- Dashboard indicates which configured Dashboard the user has access, whether a Main Dashboard or an Expert Dashboard
- PowerUser indicates whether the Power User permission was turned on for the user
- AdminUser indicates whether the Admin User permission was turned on for the user
SuperUser indicates whether the Super User permission was turned on for the user
The value (empty value) indicates the user does not have that level of permission.
NTE Approval Limits Report
The NTE Approval Limits report displays NTE limits and currency, NTE limit updates, the user's last login date, and the work order trades the user is permitted to access.
The following data is listed in the report, sortable by these column headers:
UserID
TradePermitted displays the trade(s) for work orders/invoices/proposals to which the user has access.
An (empty value) indicates all trades are accessible.
LastLoginDate shows the last time the user logged into Service Automation.
An (empty value) indicates the user has not logged in.

- NteLimitCurrency
- NteApprovalLimitUpdatedBy shows the UserID that last updated the NTE Limit for the listed user
NteApprovalLimitUpdateDate displays the date the UserID listed above updated the NTE Limit for the listed user
NTE Limit Maintenance
An (empty value) under NteApprovalLimitUpdatedBy indicates that the NTE was never updated after the initial setup. Use the date listed under NteApprovalLimitUpdateDate to check when the NTE was last updated. You may need to make adjustments if the NTE has not been adjusted in a number of years.
Report Filters and Sorting
On the top of the page are global filters to help you hone in on key information. Note that all reports on the page are affected by these global filters.
You can filter this report by the following criteria:
Segregation of Duty: Uncheck No to exclude ServiceChannel Support team members from your data.
Sorting Your Data
Click the up arrow next to the headers to sort columns from lowest to highest / A - Z / earliest to latest. Click it again to return to the default sorting.
Click the down arrow to sort from highest to lowest / Z - A / latest to earliest. Click it again to return to the default sorting.
Downloading Reports
You can either download individual reports or download all reports into one file. Your reports will download with the criteria set in the filters on the top of the page.
Downloading Individual Reports
When hovering your mouse over the data table, an iconappears next to the table name. Click the icon to choose which format to download your report.
The section title and the table title may have the same name. The table title is smaller and directly above the table.
- On the desired table, mouseover the table title. The download iconappears.
- Click the icon, and then select Download As...
Choose the desired format (PDF, Microsoft Excel XLSX, CSV-formatted, or CSV-raw data).
When downloading tables to PDF, PDF (Landscape) is the recommended option.
- When prompted, save the report to your drive.
Downloading All Reports Into One File
You can download all the reports listed in this dashboard.
- On the top-right of the screen, click the gear icon.
- Choose the desired format:
- Export to PDF saves the current page view as a PDF file. Only the data immediately listed on the page will appear in the PDF export.
- Export to XLSX saves all data in a Microsoft Excel XLSX spreadsheet. Each table is saved on a different Excel tab.
- When prompted, save the report to your drive.
- No labels
