Add-on modules
Projects. We’ve improved the performance of several pages within the Projects module. The Cost Info page now takes less than four seconds to load. The Budgets page loads faster regardless of the number of projects associated with it, and the data in the drop-down lists of the Create Program page shows up faster as well.
Bug fixes
Core modules
ALP. Some admin users of provider companies couldn’t manage their payment methods by clicking the account status (Grace or Restricted) at the top of the profile overview panel on their home page (ALP). They were redirected to the page with an alert instead. We’ve done away with the issue — now, clicking the account status leads to the My Account page.
Locations. Filtering locations by multiple ranks caused an error in some cases. If you selected more than 10 ranks among filter options, you were likely to get an error.
MLI. The MLI Configuration Health Check report that you downloaded from the MLI Configuration page contained errors saying that levels were not in the configuration. However, the levels were present in your configuration, and the employees were assigned to them. The report no longer shows errors when everything is set up correctly on your side.
RFP. When you tried to get a report with RFPs filtered by a location note header (LNH) you entered in the More section of the View RFP page, the displayed RFPs weren’t filtered by the specified LNH. Location note headers won’t be ignored anymore.
Add-on modules
Projects. The Cost Info tab on the project details page was missing the invoice tax amount. Once a work order associated with a project gets invoiced, the invoice tax amount will now get included in the Total Tax amount.
ServiceNow. On the Open, In Progress, and Completed Work Orders pages, you expected to see service requests in the corresponding status, but these pages displayed WOs in all statuses. We’ve done away with this hodgepodge. Your work orders are now grouped by status on each of these pages. Important: Remove the ServiceChannel app from your favorites (if it is there), and then add it back to apply the change.
ServiceNow. Some of you might have been stuck when creating a work order with the Asset field required. When there was no asset of that type in the system to fill the required field, you couldn’t submit your service request without an asset. It is not the case anymore: you can create work orders with no assets associated in such cases.
ServiceNow. Upon creating a new service request or saving changes to the created WO via Service Portal, an error occurred. The error message would say that there was a JavaScript error in your browser console. You are not troubled by this error anymore.
ServiceNow. When you added new statuses in ServiceChannel, the Import All Data and Import Base Data pollers didn't bring this data to ServiceNow. Now, the pollers promptly import the statuses data to ServiceNow.
ServiceNow. Work orders that were created as recalls in ServiceChannel got transferred to ServiceNow without the Recall Work Order field. We’ve added the field back so that you can see the ServiceNow number of the original work order.
ServiceNow. When you were submitting a new work order in ServiceNow, we didn’t notify you in case there was no provider assigned to the selected location and trade. As a result, a broken work order got created in ServiceNow, and no work order was created in ServiceChannel. From now on, we alert you about this thing. If a work order cannot be created because in ServiceChannel no provider has been assigned, you will get an error message explaining what’s wrong.
Supply Manager. When a supply order was approved via email and got automatically reassigned to another supplier, a note was added to the order. Even though the reassignment was triggered by an automatic process, the note contained the name of the person who allegedly reassigned it. Now, such notes show that orders were reassigned by Supply Manager.
