Features and improvements

Core modules

Asset Manager. Those old times when adding asset tags to assets was only feasible via the Excel template are gone now! You can associate your assets with the required asset tags by using the Asset Tag field on the page for creating a new asset or the details page of an existing asset.

General. Note that Field Tech Manager (FTM) internal providers cannot work as subcontractors. When inviting a subcontractor via the Work Order Assignment section of Provider Automation, users can search for and invite external providers only.

Invoices. Up to 300 invoices! You can upload 300 invoices at a time via the template from the invoices list. Should you have a bigger file, either split it and upload each batch separately, or email the entire file to invoices@servicechannel.net, and we will process the template for you.

Work Orders. Feel like something has slightly changed on the WOs list? You are right! On the filters panel, we’ve rearranged the buttons for applying and clearing the filters and the button that opens an overlay with all filters.

Work Orders. Upon adding a note to multiple WOs in bulk, you are no longer forced to enter the email addresses of providers to notify. As long as you keep the Notify Provider checkbox active in the Add Note overlay, we send alerts to the corresponding providers, so you don’t have to enter any emails.

Bug fixes

Core modules

Admin. Weird things happened with primary user roles and permissions uploaded via the “Load User Feed Role” template. If a primary user role was assigned only the Service Request Dashboard permission in the template, the Permissions tab of the user profile would show that all the permissions got assigned to this user role.

Provider Directory. Providers who disabled email notifications in their Provider Directory (aka Fixxbook) settings kept receiving email alerts about insurance documents that were about to expire. When alerts are deactivated, providers don’t get any emails now.

Work Orders. An issue with regular reports on work orders was brought to our attention: Excel files contained duplicate columns for the location notes you selected to be shown in your reports. All the duplicates have been weeded out.

Add-on modules
