A location attachment is a document that relays information about that location that may help Service Automation Corporate users and service providers manage work orders. Documents such as floor plans, photos or videos of the location are examples of attachments that are typically uploaded here. Attachments are visible to both clients and service providers, and both clients and service providers may upload relevant documents.
In the Location Details, the number of attachments available will appear on the Attachments tab:

Uploading an Attachment
Both service providers and permissioned corporate users may upload and view attachments.

Deleting an Attachment
A corporate user can delete attachments that (s)he has uploaded, as well as attachments uploaded by service providers. A corporate user cannot delete an attachment uploaded by another corporate user.
A service provider can only delete attachments that (s)he has uploaded. A service provider cannot delete attachments uploaded by corporate users.

You can use templates to update information about Locations, Location notes, Landlord Responsibility Override, Location phone numbers, Provider assignments, and Location business hours and holidays. This is useful when you have a large number of locations and want to add or update information in batch.

For any reports and templates downloaded for viewing and/or adding information for uploading into Service Automation, items such as decimal separators, date & time formats, currency codes and address forms displays based on your computer settings if the format is Excel (.xls) and if it is a CSV file (.csv), then ServiceChannel settings takes precedence. If the Currency Code Support feature is enabled, a currency field is added to reports and templates. If the Localization Address Format feature is enabled, headers and values are updated with the specific country’s address format for Excel (.xls) and CSV(.csv) only headers are affected while headers and values are affected for a PDF (.pdf). |
