There are times when assets need to be taken out of service in . In cases like this, assets can be deactivated.   This could be due to a seasonal increase or decrease in need or or a prolonged repair process. Regardless of the reason, rather than remove an asset from the database assets can be deactivated , you can deactivate it and then reactivated reactivate it when the need arises.

title⦿ How to Deactivate an Asset
  1. Navigate to the Asset moduleto Assets (Equipment), and select Manage Assets.

  2. Locate the asset that you want to deactivate on the assets list.

    Tip

    Use filters to quickly find the desired assets.


  3. Click the Actions button

    then select Deactivate Asset.

Your asset has been deactivated. This asset appears on the list with an asset tag ID highlighted in red.

Viewing Deactivated Assets

Using the filters on the assets list, you can view which of your assets are deactivated.

  2. Check the box next to Show Deactivated Assets .
