Features and improvements
Inventory. FTM internal technicians can now create and keep track of inventory transfers right from the app. When there is a shortage of some parts at your truck, for example, you can create a request to replenish the part’s on-hand quantity. To start using the feature, contact your ServiceChannel Representative.
Work Orders. Whenever you need to take a faulty asset out for repair, your client may request you to set the asset status to Out for Repair. This can be done from the work order details screen. Contact your ServiceChannel Representative to learn how to enable and use the feature. Learn more about Changing Asset Repair Status in SC Provider.
Work Orders. Planned Maintenance work orders can now be associated with multiple assets at a time. Based on your client’s preferences, you may be required to service multiple assets on the same service request, which saves your time as you don’t have to close multiple work orders. Learn how you can capture part use information on multiple assets.
Bug fixes
General. Even when screen rotation was enabled on your device, you couldn’t view attachments in landscape mode in the app. Both portrait and landscape modes display the attached files correctly now.
Inventory. Associating a scanned barcode with an existing inventory part led to an error in some cases. We’ve made a few tweaks to prevent this error.
Inventory. When adjusting the part’s on-hand quantity at an inventory location, you tapped Done several times — the part’s quantity was increased or decreased several times. No matter how many times you tap, the app saves the adjusted part’s quantity only once.
General. With the device switched to Traditional Chinese, some information (button and section names) in the app would be still displayed in English. This version addresses some of those translation gaps.
