Parts List View
On the parts list, you can view the following information on your parts:
- Part picture
- Part number
- Part name
- Part group
- Part type
- Supplier
- Price
- Total on-hand quantity across all of your locations

Term | Definition |
---|---|
Part | Items that are stored at an inventory location, for example, pipe fittings, light switches, power outlets, fan motors, or refrigerants. |
Part numberNumber | Number you give to a part when adding it to your general parts catalog. |
Part nameName | Name that you give to a part when adding it to your general parts catalog. |
Part typeType | General term for defining the part purpose or the field of use. For example, you may have such part types as Tools, Lights, Refrigerant. |
Part groupGroup | Within the same asset type, you can arrange your assets into groups. For the Tools part type, there may be such a part group as Electrical, meaning that all parts of this group are used for the electrical trade. Another part group within the Tools part type, could be Plumbing, meaning that all of the parts are used for the plumbing trade. |
Maximum quantity | The max number of a part that should never be exceeded at the location. |
Minimum quantity | The least number of a part that should never fall below at the location. |

Filtering and Sorting Parts

Take advantage of the filters at the top of the parts list to quickly find the items you need to view and weed out those you don’t need.

The page updates showing parts that match the specified criteria.
If required, you can sort parts in ascending ↑ or descending ↓ order. Column headers that you find on the parts list serve as sorting criteria.

Parts Details View
When you need more information on a part, click the part on the list to open the details panel.
The details panel consists of the following sections:
- Part picture
- Part detailed information
- Criteria for filtering the locations where the part is kept
- List of locations where the part is stored
- Add Stock Record button for adding the existing part to new locations
- Pagination to set how many rows per page to display as well as to switch between pages if there are multiple pages
- Edit button to modify the information on the part
- Close button to exit the details panel
Adding Stock Records
To specify more inventory locations where this or that item is kept, you can add stock records via the part detailed panel.

Editing Parts
When you need to add a photo to an existing part, change the part name, price, supplier, or other details, you can access the overlay for part editing right from the part detailed view.
