Features and improvements
Work Orders. To ensure that you are servicing correct assets — those that were requested to be repaired per the work order, your clients now may require you to scan and validate assets when you check into work orders. Read more about our asset validation solution in SCU.
Work Orders. FTM internal techs can start placing a service request for a faulty asset by scanning its barcode, QR, or NFC code. Once the code is scanned, the app populates the information about the asset on the WO creation form, which saves you time and guarantees the WO is associated with the right asset. Find more details in our SCU article.
Bug fixes
Work Orders. Attachments in the HEIC format appeared as a gray rectangle on the Notes tab of the WO details screen. The colors are back — HEIC files appear in full color now.
Work Orders. The screen for adding parts used information to work orders became transparent, making it difficult for you to enter part details. Though we all advocate for transparency, we do agree the transparent screen for parts was a bad way to show it.
Work Orders. There was a check-in issue for FTM internal techs. It occurred on work orders where the total time spent to fix the issue got over 200 hours, or when there were already around 60 time records associated with the WO.
