In this tab, you may configure the settings for viewing and editing notes on the View Open Tickets or View Work History pages for dashboard users.
- For all desired fields:
- Enter the desired details in related text fields
- Check/uncheck the boxes next to the desired options, and/or
- Select desired items from a drop-down list as necessary,
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation message appears at the top-right corner of the screen.
List of Settings Under the Note Tab
- Disable Notes: Dashboard users cannot view or add notes; this setting overrides all the other settings in the Note tab.
Allow Adding Notes: Dashboard users can add notes for open and in progress work orders, in addition to the ability to view existing notes.
- Allow Adding Notes For Completed WO’s: Dashboard users may add notes to work orders in Completed status.
- Mask Money: NTE and other money-related information are masked in the Work Order Summary and Notes.
- Mask Phone: Phone numbers are masked in the Work Order Summary and Notes.
- Mask Email: Email addresses are masked in the Work Order Summary and Notes.
- Show Provider Recipients: Dashboard users can send notes to service providers.
- Show Subscriber Recipients: Dashboard users can send notes to other users in your company who have access to the specific work order location.
- Show Public User Emails Only: Emails of users marked private do not appear in the recipient list.
Show Universal Recipients: Displays universal users in the recipient list.
- Location Notes as Recipients: Emails from location note headers specified here appear in the recipient list.
- Custom Note Recipients: Additional email addresses can be entered here to send work order notes.
- Statuses for WO: Dashboard users can move a work order to one of the statuses selected here when adding a note.
