Converting Asset from Non-Refrigerant to Refrigerant
There are times when non-refrigerant assets need to be converted to refrigerant assets due to a variety of reasons. For instance, if an asset is being reclassified or when specific standards on an asset change. The option to change those specific assets are available from within the asset details. When a change is made, it allows for the asset to become refrigerant, changes the attributes to the asset type that was chosen, and restarts any asset meter reading.
Select an asset from the list and click Tag ID or Asset Tag to open the Asset Details for the asset
Use the Asset Type drop-down arrow to expand the list
Select a Refrigerant Asset Type from the list to open the modal
Use the drop-down arrow to select a Refrigerant Usage Type
Optional: Select the checkbox if the asset contains circuits
Click the Save button to confirm asset conversion
When converting a refrigerant asset, the asset types available are other refrigerant asset types.
Assets that are not deemed non-refrigerant cannot be converted into refrigerant assets.
