About Proposal Details View

For more insight, you can assess the specific details of a proposal from the list view. You can review the: 

At any time, you can revert back to the Legacy View for Proposals. 

View Proposal

Whenever a proposal is received, you can view the entire breakdown. This allows you to identify each line item that determines the overall cost and work that is needed within the proposal. For example, you can view cost incurred to date, labor cost, material, and taxes.

⦿ How to View a Proposal from the List View
  1. Locate a proposal from the List View and click the View Proposal button to open the proposal
  2. The proposal opens in a new tab on your web browser.

Proposal History

Once a proposal is created, its history is tracked. This allows you see any transactions that has happened for the proposal. For example, when a proposal has been updated, you will see that within its history. 

⦿ How to View a Proposal History from the List View
  1. Locate a proposal from the List View and click the History button to open the proposal history

Budget Insights on the Proposal Linked to a Work Order 

Only Power User and Admin User roles can view Budget Insights on proposals. Contact your ServiceChannel manager to enable the feature.

If you have active budgets, then, proposals linked to a work order will have the Budget button, allowing you to view how the proposal affects your financial plans on a fiscal period and year.  

The Budget button will not appear on a proposal if a proposal is not linked to a work order. 

⦿ How to View Budget Insights on a Proposal
  1. Locate a proposal from the Proposals List View and click the Budget button to open budget insights.


    The Budget Insights pop-up window opens.


  2. (Optional) Navigate between the budget levels the proposal linked to a work order relates to. 
  3. (Optional) Click on the amount type that filters the Proposals List to view all proposals linked to work orders associated with the clicked amount type at this budget level.
